Before you book

Two stops: an hour at Farol village on Ilha da Culatra, and 20 to 30 minutes on Ilha Deserta, enough for a swim or a photo but not the walk to the cape.
Check in 10 minutes before departure at the Boat Tours store, on the ground floor of the Ginásio Clube Naval building at Faro marina, not at the Porta Nova pier.
Formosamar advises waterproof clothing in autumn and winter, and swimwear, a towel, a hat and sunscreen in spring and summer.
Food, drinks, hotel pickup and tips are not included, and pets and smoking are not allowed. Times and route can change with the weather and tides.
The Farol lighthouse is closed to visits while it is renovated (as of October 2026), so you see it from the village.
